8:13. וַיַּעַשׂ דָּוִד שֵׁם בְּשֻׁבוֹ מֵהַכּוֹתוֹ אֶת־אֲרָם בְּגֵיא־מֶלַח שְׁמוֹנָה עָשָׂר אָלֶף ׃

8:13. יג ויעש דוד שם בשבו מהכותו את ארם בגיא מלח--שמונה עשר אלף

8:13. וַיַּעַשׂ דָּוִד שֵׁם בְּשֻׁבֹו מֵהַכֹּותֹו אֶת־אֲרָם בְּגֵיא־מֶלַח שְׁמֹונָה עָשָׂר אָלֶף׃

8:13. ‏וַיַּ֤עַשׂ דָּוִד֙ שֵׁ֔ם בְּשֻׁב֕וֹ מֵהַכּוֹת֥וֹ אֶת־אֲרָ֖ם בְּגֵיא־מֶ֑לַח שְׁמוֹנָ֥ה עָשָׂ֖ר אָֽלֶף׃

8:13. David became famous when he returned from defeating the Arameans in the Valley of Salt, he defeated 18,000 in all.

8:13. So David became very famous. After his return he destroyed 18,000 Edomites in the Valley of Salt.
